This Biometric Information Privacy Policy (“Biometric Policy”) explains how we collect, use, store, and protect "biometric identifiers" and "biometric information" (collectively, “Biometric Data”) in connection with our genealogy and social media platform.

● Biometric Information: Means any information, regardless of how it is captured, converted, stored, or shared, based on an individual’s biometric identifier used to identify an individual.

We collect and use Biometric Data (specifically facial geometry templates derived from photos you upload) for the following purposes:
● Identification and Tagging: To identify and tag individuals within photos uploaded to the platform to help build your genealogy records.
● Kinship Mapping: To facilitate the creation of automated kinship records and family trees.
● Targeted Marketing and Profiling: Once an individual is identified through biometric analysis, the Company uses that identification to categorize the user and deliver personalized content, community recommendations, and targeted advertisements.

We will not collect, capture, or obtain your Biometric Data without your prior written consent. By clicking "Accept" on our Biometric Consent Modal, you are providing your express, affirmative authorization for MyKinships.com to:

We use a reasonable standard of care within our industry to store, transmit, and protect from disclosure all Biometric Data. Such protection is at least as protective as the manner in which we store other confidential and sensitive information.
